We are very excited to be hosting the Screen Arts Festival, a brand new UK-wide cross arts initiative from Picturehouse Cinemas showcasing a wide range of arts content – ballets, operas, plays, and concerts, both pre-recorded and live.

The festival will also include a number of related films, documentaries and special events....

Ballet highlights include:

  • The UK premiere for a brand new restoration of Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake from 1966 featuring the legendary partnership of Rudolf Nureyev and Margot Fonteyn

  • The UK premiere of an inspiring documentary chronicling Cambodian teenager Sokvannara Sar’s meteoric rise to stardom with the Seattle Ballet - Dancing Across Border

The Opera strand boasts:

  • Three productions from the Met Opera 2010/2011 season (Tosca, Madama Butterfly, and La Fille du Regiment)
