A friend of FACT sent us this great quotation with the Space Invaders exhibition in mind, from poet Luke Kennard's new collection Migrane Hotel. Its an excerpt from the poem 'And I Saw':
"When you are raised on computer games
You grow accustomed to saying ‘I’m dead,’
Several times a day. Which is not to say
We are the first generation to feel
So comfortable with our mortality."
It's some wonderful food for thought - you can download a sample (PDF) of the collection, including And I Saw in full.
