Commission (8 October – 20 December) immerses participants into a series of installations within video and sculptural works, exploring the impact of video games on children whilst distinguishing between the real world and digital world.
Rafman’s work emphasises our relationship with technology and its effect on how we communicate with one another. His playful practice, that simultaneously critiques and celebrates contemporary culture, explores digital social interactions citing Google earth, Tumblr and JPEGs amongst its influences.
For FACT’s Science Fiction: New Death exhibition, Rafman was commissioned to produce a new limited edition print inspired by his works Still Life (Beta Male) and Main Squeeze. There are only 400 prints of the limited artwork and because we’re very excited for his London exhibition, we’ve re-listed them on our ebay page.
