This summer, bio-scientists at Farm Urban are collaborating with us to deliver STEAM workshops to eight primary schools. Each group will visit FACTLab, our new space for experiments and collaborations, where Farm Urban will teach them to build their own aquaponic systems. These systems will be transported back to the schools, where Farm Urban will provide support to the teachers in maintaining the systems in the classroom.

I’m really excited to be involved in this project, and look forward to the workshops in late June. It’ll be interesting to see how each of the school groups put their individual stamps on the project, and I can’t wait to see the finished systems complete with goldfish!
