Beyond Clueless 011

As part of a series of special Q+A events here at FACT, we're excited to to be inviting British Director and Film Critic Charlie Lyne to answer questions after a screening of his film Beyond Clueless. Examining the representation of adolescence in teen films, this idiosyncratic found-footage documentary is a must-see for any fan of the genre.

Combining clips from a vast array of films, including Mean Girls, Jeepers Creepers and , a compelling voiceover by young star Fairuza Balk and a new soundtrack by cult band Summer Camp, the film is at once a breathless introduction to an entire genre and a deeply personal example of cinephilia taken to its absolute limits.

To make things extra special, we're giving you the chance to win tickets for you and a friend to see the film, plus the opportunity to have a free drink with the Director after the event!

To be in with a chance to win, we want you to describe your favourite teen film in ten words or less.

Please send your entries in to katie.whitfield@fact.co.uk. The winner will be selected on Friday 16 January at 3pm.

We can't wait to see what you come up with. Good luck!

Beyond Clueless plus Q+A with Charlie Lyne is on Monday 19 January, 8.30pm
