FACT's Jen Chapman introduces our redesigned and improved website!

"Websites are tricky things! They can become out-of-date almost as soon as you launch, one minor change can have unexpectedly major consequences and for an organisation as complex as FACT it's not always easy to make sure the right information is in the right place (or more importantly, that users can find where that right place is!)
We've listened to your feedback, tested our ideas on some of you (big thanks to our five guinea pigs) and have hopefully made the FACT website cleaner, clearer and easier to use.
We hope you'll find it easier to find all of the exciting stuff that's coming up at FACT, and have introduced the option to filter our what's on listings depending on what you are looking for (films, exhibitions, workshops etc) and also by date.
We've added the ability to view all upcoming listings for special groups like Silver Screen, Kids' Club and Big Scream! as well as an easy way to view everything in a special series or season.
Our exhibition pages have been redesigned to make it easier to see all of the related artworks, events, workshops, screenings, artists, downloads and texts. These pages will grow in the run-up-to, and during our exhibitions as we produce new, dynamic content.
We've also added the complete archive of all of our exhibitions in the last 10 years and many of our community, learning, young people's and health projects. Well worth a browse!
Our popular News & Articles section is here to stay and we'll be continuing to publish regular blogs, reviews, opinion pieces, announcements and behind the scenes info. We are always looking for new voices to contribute articles, so if you'd like to Write for FACT you can find out more here.
Of course, we couldn't have done it without the support of our fantastic website partners Sigma who have been endlessly patient, wonderfully creative and a font of websitey knowledge!
Our golden rule with this website is that it will never be a finished product, but will continue to grow and evolve along with FACT, so we're already looking forward to our next updates!
