Downturn 1

Liverpool Film Night supports and celebrates the wealth of creativity and talent across Merseyside. Over the years we have screened a massive variety of films from up and coming film makers, directors and writers all of whom are based in the city.

Each year, we invite an artist or well known filmmaker to curate the evenings programme and this year we are very excited to welcome Mark Leckey as the LFN Curator.

Leckey, who is from Birkenhead, won the Turner Prize in 2008 with his exhibition Industrial Lights and Magic. Earlier in the year, The Bluecoat hosted his exhibition The Universal Addressability of Dumb Things which featured a giant, inflatable Felix the Cat.

This year Liverpool Film Night is sponsored by FACT Services, with selected films receiving £100 credit towards our services*. See the Services page for more info on what we have to offer. *t&c's apply
