To celebrate ten years of FACT, we knew we had to do something very special! We invited a selection of the most exciting, interesting and unique artists from around the world to take over the iconic FACT building and we’re just about ready to show you what they’ve been up to.

The entire building including our two galleries, The Wall, the FACT Connects Space, and the Atrium are getting taken over for Turning FACT Inside Out, with Me_Me Collective’s colourful street art even spilling out into Ropewalks Square. (Check out our Instagram account for some images of its creation!)

Across the building artistic engineers HeHe, Polish artist Katarzyna Krakowiak, international collective Manifest.AR, conceptual artist Steve Lambert, Liverpool based Nina Edge, Spanish group Uncoded Collective and designers Me_Me Collective have created a diverse range of work which consider some of the most pressing, controversial and literally ground-breaking political issues of today.

The exhibition celebrates ten years of FACT being at the forefront of art, technology and creativity. The launch event features artist performances, live music from the Harlequin Dynamite Marching Band and complimentary drinks provided by Liverpool Organic Brewery. After the opening we head to The Kazimier Garden, for our tenth birthday party with Hive DJs, live visuals and JD Twitch from legendary Glaswegian duo Optimo.

The exhibition launch and Birthday Party are both completely free and open to the public. For more information please visit the event page and the Turning FACT Inside Out project page
