James Bond Vs Twilight's Edward Cullen
4 October 2012
Bond attended some of the world's best schools and universities. He was trained by MI6 and the Royal Navy to be an expert in driving, weapons, hand-to-hand combat, intelligence and survival skills but compared to Twilight's Edward Cullen, 007 doesn't seem particularly special.
Edward can read minds, his skin is 'stronger than granite', he has super human strength, speed, stamina and agility, not to mention the fact that he is immortal (oh, and he just happens to be a virtuoso pianist and violin player as well)
Weapons and Gadgets
There was only ever going to be one winner in this category. James Bond has his trusty assistant Q (who returns in Skyfall, played by British actor Ben Whishaw), to provide all the ridiculous, unbelievable and dangerous gadgets and weapons any secret agent can ever need.
The closest Twilight can get to matching Bond's technology, is the occasional wooden stake.
Edward Cullen is described as 'impossibly beautiful' in the Twilight books, but at 108 years old he isn't the most stylish vampire in the world; usually wearing dirty jackets, check shirts and jeans.
James Bond on the other hand can be lost and alone, running for his life in the middle of a jungle, and he'll still be wearing a tuxedo
There's far too many to name for James Bond. His 'Bond Girls' have become symbols of glamour and sophistication, but the only two women he's ever really loved have both ended up dead.
Edward Cullen is much more faithful. He fell in love with Bella Swan and they've hardly been apart since.
It's a Draw!
Two points each means 007 and Twilight's Edward Cullen are completely evenly matched!
