The Humble Market: Trade Secrets opened its doors to the public on the 22 June. The exhibition was a result of a collaboration and residency programme with UK/Brazilian theatre company Zecora Ura and performer Persis Jade-Maravala with new media artists, Jeremy Bailey and Alastair Eilbeck.

Since then, a wide array of visitors have experienced what The Humble Market Tours have to offer. They have peered out of the windows of the Carnival Taxi into the streets of Rio, and taken some time out on Philosophy Hill.

As you can probably tell, The Humble Market is a bit of a break from the norm for FACT. It was recently visited by Laura Davis, Arts Editor at the Liverpool Post, she described the exhibition as, "more interactive theatre show than traditional exhibition, the success of The Humble Market depends as much on its visitors as it does on what lies in the galleries."

The best way of experiencing The Humble Market: Trade Secrets is definitely to come down and embark on a tour yourself, but if you can't wait, you can check out the teaser trailer created for the FACT Channel on artplayer.tv via the media section to the right of this page.

We hope to see you soon, Viva Brazil!
