When I heard about the new Spiderman film, I was pleased that it wasn't just going to be a Spiderman 4! Instead, The Amazing Spiderman takes us back to the start, revealing a bit more about how Peter Parker came to be a lycra clad superhero.

Holly and Milan, here at FACT on work experience, went to see the film this week, and let me know about their personal highlights...

"Webb's casting choices for the film are remarkable and the chemistry the actors hold on screen is flawless, especially between Spiderman himself (Andrew Garfield) and his love interest Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone). It is definitely a must see film. Children and adults alike are guaranteed to enjoy this funny yet dramatic version of the much-loved Marvel Comic books. I sincerely hope that we haven't seen the last of Webb's take on Spiderman and that there will be more films to come in the near future." - Holly

"Being a fan of Tobey Maguire's Spiderman, I was wary of a remake only five years after the conclusion of the last Spiderman trilogy. Despite this, the film was great and I can tell that Marvel fans will be very happy with the result. The cast pulled of the hard task of not making the movie cheesy, which can be very easy to do when creating a superhero movie. With this being a Marvel feature, there had to be an appearance from Stan Lee as he plays a small role of a library worker." - Milan
