Combining the visual wit and energy of Brazil/UK-based contemporary theatre company Zecora Ura with the visions of artists Persis-Jade Maravala, Alastair Eilbeck, Jorge Lopes Ramos and James Bailey, Humble Market: Trade Secrets will be a unique collaboration of artistry and theatricality.

Part-exhibition, part-performance, the production will take audiences on an intimate physical and psychological journey through the building as they are forced to confront questions: "What do we really trade?" What do we value when faced with tyranny of choice and the challenges of global consumerism?

FACT is collaboratiing with Abandon Normal Devices, Derry City of Culture and We Play Expo to bring the production to Liverpool. After the exhibition here at FACT, Humble Market will journey to Preston for a culminating performance, and continues with in residencies in Derry City of Culture.

Zecora Ura specialises in exhilarating promenade style theatre. In their acclaimed 2011 production Hotel Medea, audiences were invited to attend a six hour long performance blending rave, live documentary, satire and tragedy that began at midnight and ended with breakfast at six in the morning.
