Arts-Life is a project led by DaDaFest to enhance the experience and increase attendance of disabled and deaf people, including older people, in arts venues and events in Liverpool and Merseyside. The project has been commissioned by the Liverpool Arts Regeneration Consortium (LARC) which is a group of seven of Liverpool's major cultural organisations.
We want to assist more open dialogue between disabled and deaf people and arts organisations. We recognise that the arts can significantly enhance the wellbeing of disabled and non-disabled people. We want to increase choice and communicate more effectively so that more disabled and deaf people can benefit from arts events and activities.
