INARI CARD is an interactive installation by Japanese artist Inari, who has been undertaking an internship at FACT over the last three months. You might have met Inari before, at least in hologram form, when the INARI NOODLE BAR was installed in Static Gallery in 2010. Based upon a traditional Japanese noodle bar, INARI NOODLE BAR subjected customers to elective visual and audio whilst they were waiting for their noodles to be served.

His most recent installation INARI CARD invites members of the public to have a break and a quick chat with inari himself. "Located in the FACT foyer throughout the duration of the AND festival, the installation poses the question ...what if the value of money changes depending on how good you are? If you prove you are a "good person", you can get a discount from shops on Bold Street."

That's all Inari will let us know for now so if you want to find out more, he will be manning the INARI CARD pod from 11am - 6pm throughout the AND festival and it is free to get involved. INARI CARD will also be part of the exhibiton launch at FACT from 6pm - 8pm on Thursday 29 September.
