FACT has teamed up with local magazine Waxxx to help raise money for those who need it in true Dude style. All proceeds will go towards Waxxx contributor Charles's Actionaid fundraising project....

"My name is Charles McIntyre and I am travelling to Kenya next month with the poverty fighting charity Actionaid to build new classrooms in the village of Marafa. I have been raising money with my girlfriend for the past year, and we are almost at our target of £6000.

Being a regular visitor to (and massive fan of) FACT to review films for Waxxx magazine, I had the idea of holding film nights to raise money for the Actionaid cause. FACT, Waxxx and Actionaid joined forces to make these nights possible, kicking off with The Big Lebowski which took place on the 19th September. It was a great night and everyone who came along got a free copy of I'm a Lebowski, You're a Lebowski, donated by Canongate books.

The next night is tonight, and the film is Easy Rider. We're holding a free raffle with prizes donated by Macmillan books, Routledge books, Waxxx magazine and FACT - who are donating the main prize of a year's membership!

It promises to be another excellent evening so please get your tickets while you can!"
