9 June 2011Have you noticed anything out of the ordinary on the walls of buildings across Liverpool city centre this year? For the “So Close” campaign, FACT teamed up with other organisations across the city to promote Liverpool’s cultural venues and their world class collections. Iconic objects and artworks from the city’s museums and galleries can be seen bursting through the walls at Lime Street Station, in Liverpool One and at other sites across the city.
FACT decided to go for a slightly different approach to showcasing our galleries, cinemas, bar and cafe. As our building is transformed during each exhibition, our campaign is based around the 'spirit of FACT'. There's hints of iconic film, digital art, DIY workshops plus popcorn and cupcakes scattered through the air.
The campaign is designed to signpost how easy museums, galleries and other attractions are to reach on foot and public transport.
