Get your hands dirty with this award winning, touring workshop as part of The Future of Learning week at FACT.

\r\n

Unravel is a massive UK-wide project which will result in hand painted film that is as long as the journey between John O’Groats and Land’s End (874 miles!) and will take 16 hours to view. The touring workshop has already been a success at places such as the Basement Arts Project in Leeds and the Whitworth Art Gallery in Manchester so we can’t wait to host it at FACT.

\r\n

The workshop will be free and open to all. You will be able to paint, draw, scratch and work directly onto the 16mm celluloid film. Unravel “aims to turn the viewer into the maker of the work in a literal hands-on way”. You can follow the Unravel blog to see how the film is taking shape and we hope to see you there on Sunday!
