For her second solo exhibition, Golnaz Fathi who was born in Tehran in 1972 has an exciting new collection of paintings in London’s October Gallery. For the past few years, Falthi has been part of a contemporary artist group in Iran. Intrigued in traditional Persian calligraphic forms, Fathi studied traditional calligraphy for six years. This can be seen throughout her work today, which also explores representation with abstract forms using an array of striking colour.
