MyWar, the AND Festival, Dirty Oil and Chris Cox lauded mind-reading show
15 March 2010Lots going on at FACT this week..! Our new exhibition, MyWar, is underway. The main exhibition spaces is filled with work by the of Phil Collins, Renzo Martens, Milica Tomic, Knowbotic Research, Harun Farocki, Sarah Vanagt, Joseph Delappe, Oliver Laric, Dunne & Raby, Harrell Fletcher, SWAMP and Thomson & Craighead.

You can see other people's responses at our MyWar micro-site or you can come and visit the Media Lounge and listen to war stories that people have come in and recorded.
The next stage of the AND Festival also launches in Cumbria, Lancashire and online this week. You can keep up-to-date with what's going on at the AND website, on Facebook or via Twitter. There are also AND listings on the FACT website if you'd prefer to keep up like that.
Picturehouse at FACT is showing the Dirty Oil premiere tonight along with a host of other venues that will be joined together after the screening for a live webcast Q&A. There are still some tickets available if you're interested.
And on Wednesday, we'll be hosting Chris Cox's 'Mind of Patter' show, which is an exciting mix of contemporary mindreading, psychology, body language, magic, illusion and humour. The show has had some great press so its worth a look if you're free.
