Freehand (FACT’s young people’s programme) and tenantspin (our pioneering community broadcast project with Arena Housing) are partnering with Vancouver’s community media arts organisation W2 to work with community groups and young people in the lead up to this year's Olympic Games.

We’ll be sharing our unique approach to community engagement and citizen journalism and engaging Vancouver communities in the wider themes of the Olympic games, which promise to be one of the biggest in history.  As always, Freehand and tenantspin will be probing the regenerative impact of large scale sporting events on society and how such events can have lasting social impact.

This is an exciting opportunity for FACT's Engagement team and we look forward to working with our Canadian friends over the coming weeks!
