In its inaugural season, the series enjoyed critical acclaim and box office success, attracting an audience of more than 325,000 globally. The Metropolitan Opera Live in HD series returns with eight transmissions scheduled during the 2007-2008 season. All performances are on Saturdays except Hansel and Gretel.
