The awards from the Academy of Excellence in Customer Care recognise staff in Liverpool's hotel, retail, leisure and tourism sectors whose skill creates a positive and lasting impression of the city.

Awards were presented in 12 categories covering all aspects of customer service, including Arts / Culture staff, Chefs and Cooks and Reception Staff. Sakura, who has worked at FACT for three years, won the award for Family Friendly customer care. Joshua Tennant, who works in the shop at FACT, was highly commended in the award for Retail Assistant.
