We want people who are passionate about art and technology to join our growing team of Gallery Assistants.
Would you like to volunteer with us?
The Gallery Volunteer role includes supervising the gallery spaces, talking to the public about the art we show, and making sure everyone gets as much from the exciting work on offer as possible.
Our visitors come from all over the world; some are families, some are artists and gallery professionals, some are corporate visitors, and they are of all ages and backgrounds. We're looking for a diverse range of people to welcome them, so if you like art, technology and people, this role is for you!
Our galleries are open Tuesday - Sunday each week (currently seven days per week for Liverpool Biennial 2016), with morning and afternoon volunteer sessions available, as well as the occasional special evening event. It’s a great way to meet people, learn about art and enhance your CV, so get in touch if you’d like to be part of our team.
"Volunteering with FACT has opened up so many opportunities for me and introduced me to events and activities I would never know were available." - Nikki
"FACT is a great place and I have met a lot of interesting people very quickly. I always look forward to my shifts here." - David
Our Volunteer Programme is only suitable for those aged 18 years and over.
