This year's mini film festival for young filmmakers is going to be the best yet! Join us in celebrating Merseyside's young film talent with an evening of performances, films and awards brought to you by members of FACT's young people's programme, Freehand.

Young Liverpool Film Night. This is a one night, annual event . This is a longstanding event and is always very popular. Young people are able to submit films they have made themselves or with their school/youth group. Freehand members watch all entries and shortlist films. These films are played on a showreel at the event and winners are announced. The whole event and submission/selection process is led by Freehand members and the evening normally encompasses a theme inspired by our exhibition or a festival.
